Which Aunt Jackie's range is right for your hair?

Aunt Jackie's is organised into ranges, and each one is built around a different problem rather than a different scent or price point. Pick by what your hair is actually doing and the choice gets simple.

Start here: what's your main complaint?

  • My hair is dry all the time → Curls & Coils
  • My curls have no definition → Curl La La
  • My hair won't get any longer → Flaxseed
  • Humidity ruins my hair → Grapeseed Style & Shine
  • My hair is damaged or coloured → Coconut Crème
  • I wear braids, twists or protective styles → Braid & Twist
  • My scalp is the problem → Elixir Essentials
  • I'm shopping for my child → Aunt Jackie's Kids

Curls & Coils — moisture and the basics

The foundation range and the right starting point if you're new to all of this. Shampoo, conditioner and two leave-ins that handle the one job every textured-hair routine needs to get right: getting moisture in and keeping it there.

Curl La La — definition and hold

The styling range. Custard, gel, mousse and serum, built for people who want visible curl clumps rather than soft undefined volume. This is what you add once your moisture routine is working.

Start with: the Curl La La Wash & Define Pack, or the Curl La La Styling Kit if you already have a wash routine

Flaxseed — length retention and breakage

For hair that's been the same length for years. Gentle cleansing, weekly repair, elongating styling and heavy end-sealing — all aimed at stopping the ends snapping off as fast as the roots grow.

Grapeseed Style & Shine — frizz and humidity

Silicone-free, lighter in feel, and the range that earns its keep in an Australian summer. Clarifying shampoo, recovery conditioner, setting mousse and sheen mist.

Coconut Crème — repair

The richest range, for hair that's been coloured, bleached, relaxed or heat-styled. Conditioning cleanser, deep conditioner, moisture sealant and a curling gelée with enough slip not to stress fragile strands.

Braid & Twist — protective styles

Built for the weeks your hair is tucked away. Setting foam, braid gel, an itch and tension serum, a no-rinse scalp refresh, plus a moisturiser for the braids themselves.

Start with: the Braids & Twists Survival Kit

Elixir Essentials — scalp oils

Four lightweight oils formulated for the scalp rather than the strand — Biotin, Saw Palmetto, Collagen and Batana, Jojoba & Rice.

Natural Growth Oil Blends — sealing oils

Heavier oils for the ends, not the scalp: Flaxseed & Monoi, Argan, Coconut & Sweet Almond and Grapeseed & Avocado.

Aunt Jackie's Kids — for children's curls

Lighter, gentler formulas designed above all for slip, because someone else is doing the combing. Shampoo, conditioner, leave-in detangler, curling custard and a scalp remedy.

Can you mix ranges?

Yes, and most people end up doing exactly that. The ranges aren't closed systems — a Curls & Coils leave-in under a Curl La La custard is a very common combination, and a Grapeseed clarifying shampoo works with any routine.

The one thing worth keeping consistent is your moisture step. Chopping and changing leave-ins every week makes it hard to tell what's working.

What every range has in common

No mineral oil and no petrolatum, across the board. Both coat the strand and block moisture rather than adding it, which is the opposite of what textured hair needs.

Still not sure?

Buy the pack that matches your main complaint and use it for two months before adding anything. Two months of one consistent routine tells you more than two years of buying single products.
